South Florida is home to many shark species.  We have some “regulars” that we look forward to seeing every year.  Two of our regular tigers include DJenny in the foreground and Patrick off in the distance.

Holy Whale Shark !  I enjoyed taking photos of the sharks close to the surface with the sunrays bursting around them, so I thought, hmmmm – it would be great to get a whale shark silhouette !  In hindsight, there are a couple of HUGE differences, whale sharks are MUCH larger and I’m not on scuba.  That was scary but I did get the shot !

The South Florida Underwater Photography Society (SFUPS) is a non-profit social organization dedicated to the promotion of excellence in underwater photography through its membership.
