Congratulations WALT STEARNS!
SFUPS celebrated the holidays at our December party, family style. It was a great commitment to the friendships we’ve developed over the years along with new opportunities to socialize with friends we don’t regularly see. The greatest joy we had to share is in the awarding of the annual Photographer of the Year award and honoring our runner-up winners for their consistent achievement of excellence in underwater photography.
Walt Stearns was crowned the SFUPS 2015 Photographer of the Year. He now joins an elite group of members in having achieved the status of SFUPS Master Photographer competing solely in the Masters category contests going forward.
1st and 2nd Runner Up Awards go to Wayne MacWilliams and Elly Wray. Kelly Casey also received an Honorable Mention Award.
