Join your fellow SFUPS members on one of our dedicated dive trips throughout South Florida and beyond. We aim to provide fantastic opportunities for photography and videography while catering to a wide range of budgets – from free shore dives at the celebrated Blue Heron Bridge to liveaboard or resort experiences in some of the world’s best dive destinations.
Many of our dive trips are planned with the intent of giving our members the chance to interact with South Florida’s most-loved seasonal visitors, including manatees, turtles, sharks, and Goliath groupers. Some of our recent popular trips include photographing manatees in the Florida springs, majestic Hammerhead sharks in our neighboring Bimini, and mesmerizing blackwater subjects under the guidance of blackwater specialist and long-term SFUPS member, Linda Ianniello.

Diving with a group of people that share a passion for underwater image making is an entirely different experience from a typical group dive and gives participants the opportunity to spend more time with their subjects and hone their skills. We strive to work with operators that can provide the best experience for photographers and understand their needs.
Our dive events offer the perfect environment in which to learn new techniques, share tips and tricks, and make new friends. Our members include some very accomplished and highly regarded underwater photographers, and you may find yourself benefiting from their experience on one of our trips. To add to the fun, we often hold “on-the-day” contests. Many of our trips are open to non-members. We welcome you to join us and become part of the SFUPS community!
