Kathrin Landgraf-Kluge is a trained biologist, working most of the year in Leipzig, Germany. However, her greatest passion is for travelling and diving, and she does so whenever she can. In recent years she has specialized in underwater macro and supermacro photography using a compact camera and has won many accolades for her work. She will her share her story and give insights for shooting tiny and super tiny critters with a compact camera.

Unsurprisingly, her continued fascination with the natural world led her to study biology later on. She fell in love with diving when she was 20 years old and never wanted to let go. She loves travelling, especially in Indonesia. It was there that her great love for underwater macro photography and for tiny underwater critters began about six years ago. Since then, she has wanted to share her passion for tiny and super tiny underwater critters with the world. She specializes in compact macro and supermacro photography using a compact camera.

Kathrin Landgraf-Kluge has been a finalist in several international photo contests, such as UPY, Ocean Art, and Through Your Lens.
