Dave Johnson is an award-winning photographer known for his vibrant, colorful, and dramatic shots of macro and supermacro subjects. Join him to learn how to make your images POP!

Dave Johnson is an award-winning photographer known for his vibrant, colorful, and dramatic shots of macro and supermacro subjects. Join him to learn how to make your images POP!

Dave has been diving for nearly 40 years with the last 10 years as an underwater photographer. He manages the fast growing Marine Pixels underwater photography Facebook group and regularly critiques photography competitions and challenges on a weekly basis. Within the Facebook arena he is well known for macro and super macro photography from Sulawesi and Bali. Recently he has become a brand ambassador for AOI diopters having chosen this manufacturer because of the accessibility and quality of the optics. Two or three times a year he travels to Indonesia and Asia to support learning on both individual and group sessions of underwater macro photography. He also enjoys walking in the countryside and has recently retired from a career in Aeronautical engineering.
