Meeting starts at 6.45pm. You must have created a Zoom account and be logged in to join the meeting. Enter meeting ID 94559407242 and passcode 359571 if prompted.

During this talk we will discuss a wide range of different tricks and techniques that you can build into your wide angle shooting to take your portfolio to the next level. The talk will be based around technique – rather than locations – allowing you to incorporate them no matter where you shoot. Some of the main things we will discuss will be the power of ambient light, strobe lighting techniques, split level shooting, slow shutter, building layers and using models.

Byron Conroy is a professional underwater photographer and the founder of Inside Scuba, a platform dedicated to thought-provoking articles about the dive industry and underwater photography articles on a huge variety of techniques. His photojournalism work for many different magazines has taken him all over the world and has enabled him to build a large portfolio of different images.

Byron has also been awarded in every major Underwater photo competition, from UPY to Ocean Art, DPG, OGPICTOY and Oceanographic competitions, but these days he focuses more on education and enhancing other people’s photography through photo articles, workshops in various location and live presentations.
