SFUPS is proud to give our members the opportunity to participate in our longstanding and popular monthly photo and video contests. We aim to choose a wide range of subjects that encourage entrants of all abilities to try new techniques and show their best work.
The contests are rewarding, educational, competitive, and fun. Participating is a great way to get feedback on your work from our supportive community as well as gain inspiration and knowledge from other members.
The potential rewards do not end there; this year, the winner of each category every month will receive a free dive from our local sponsor, Kyalami. At the end of the year, participants with the most points overall will be awarded the title of Photographer of the Year, Master of the Year, or Videographer of the Year.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors All Star Liveaboards and Wakatobi Resort, the winners will receive a luxury dive trip to the Red Sea or Indonesia, or a liveaboard trip in the Bahamas.
