UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY AT WAKATOBI DIVE RESORT

Join guest experience representative MICHELLE WINKEL for a look at Wakatobi Dive Resort in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Michelle will take us on a photo tour of the resort, share highlights of the premier dive sites and discuss group trip opportunities.

Located on a small island in southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, Wakatobi Dive Resort is positioned in the heart of the coral triangle, home to the world’s highest level of marine biodiversity. The resort offers five-star service and casually-elegant accommodations in a collection of Bungalows and Villas situated on a white-sand beach overlooking the expansive House Reef. This site has been named as one of the world’s best shore dives, and it provides divers and snorkelers with easy and unlimited access to a diverse range of underwater environments and marine life. A fleet of large 70-foot dive boats carries small groups of divers to more than 40 additional sites located within a private marine preserve. Some begin as steep walls that rise to within a few feet of the surface. Others take in dramatic seamounts or unique coral formations. A majority of sites are ideally suited for extended multi-level profiles, allowing divers to enjoy bottom times of more than 70 minutes.
