ANNE DUPONT

I started in underwater photography using Nikonos cameras, and in 2005 changed to digital. I use a Nikon 3100 in Ikelite housing, with two Inon strobe and solar focus light.

I think the biggest advantage of digital photography is being able to email your photos almost instantly to family and friends.

My favorite place to dive in Florida is Lake Worth Lagoon, Riviera Beach, and Fl. This “muck” diving environment provides unusual creatures and uncommon marine life that is an underwater photographer’s dream.

I also enjoy diving in the Bahamas and going to Caribbean destinations, two of my favorites being Bonaire and St Vincent.

My favorite photographic subjects are mollusks, particularly opisthobranchs . Because of my fascination with sea slugs, I am one of the co-authors of “Caribbean Sea Slugs” A field guide to the opisthobranch mollusks from the tropical northwestern Atlantic.
