BETH HEIDEMANN

I began doing underwater photography with a used Nikonos 5, SB-105 strobe, and borrowed wide-angle lens and strobe in 1999. I got a fabulous photo of my dive buddy with a wolf eel wrapped around her with that camera. Sadly…the slide has been lost to time and several moves.

I was initiated to digital with Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing on my first dive trip with Dave in 2007. I definitely don’t miss the days of lugging a brick of slide film and a case of batteries (2-3 different sizes) with me along with all my camera and dive equipment!

Although I have done diving in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Northwest, the diving at the Blue Heron Bridge is my favorite! I truly doubt I will be diving anywhere else in the future.
