My dive journey began in 1989 in Queensland, Australia, diving from Byron Bay in the south to Far North Queensland. I lived and worked on the Great Barrier Reef for many years on a variety of boats, in the tourism, diving, and sport fishing industries, and ultimately became a yacht captain based in Florida. I’ve been a terrestrial photographer for 20 years, and only in the past few years have I ventured below the surface with the camera. My career has taken me to many exotic locations, giving me stunning subjects to photograph. In this new chapter, I have a whole new world to explore below the surface.
I have always used Canon and recently switched fully to mirrorless with an R5 Mk2, Nauticam housing, and Backscatter strobes.
