PAULINE WALSH JACOBSON

I grew up on the Texas coast, and have always been fascinated with marine life. After college I moved to Austin, Texas where I met my husband Kent, and we lived there until we moved to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands in early 2015. After living there for a couple of years, we relocated to Delray Beach, Florida. We love living in Florida and dive regularly here. Our favorite dive site is the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach.
My first two underwater cameras were back in the days of 35mm film, starting with a Nikonos V, then moving to a housed Nikon N50 SLR. When digital cameras came along I switched to an Olympus E300 dSLR and I have also had several of the Canon G-series cameras. My current setup is an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II in a Nauticam housing with a variety of lenses, wet lenses and Inon strobes. I shoot mostly macro and closeup with a little wide angle thrown in here and there.
Kent and I received our PADI Open Water Certification in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 1994, and I took up underwater photography shortly thereafter. We went on to become SSI Master Divers, and have dived in quite a few places around the world including several islands in the Caribbean, Australia, Fiji, Indonesia and the Red Sea.
