Rob’s passion for marine life led him to take up diving when he was 15 and pursue a career as a biologist. After earning a BA in zoology from the University of Hawaii, he moved to Guam where he earned an MS in Biology from the University of Guam Marine Laboratory, worked as a fisheries biologist for the Government of Guam and founded Coral Graphics.
He retired 1995 to pursue photography, writing, research and consulting. Lieske) and Coral Reef Guide Red Sea (with E. Lieske) and Dangerous Marine Animals (with M. Bergbauer and M. Kirschner).
