Tammy’s love for ocean life began as a small child growing up in South Florida with many days being spent on or near the ocean. Always creatively inclined, underwater photography seemed a natural fit after becoming a certified scuba diver in Tobago during a summer trip in 2018 with a GoPro in her hands. Eventually, she became a scuba instructor in 2022 with emphasis on underwater photography shortly thereafter.
Tammy enjoys sharing the enchanting world beneath the waves, capturing the vivid colors and dynamic life of our coral reefs, focusing on everything from her love of macro details to wide-angle seascapes. She also enjoys helping other emerging underwater photographers, offering guidance to help them perfect their craft. She loves to travel the world and lead diving excursions at times to the most spectacular marine diving destinations, promoting a community committed to ocean conservation.
Her current underwater photo setup is a Canon R5 with a Marelux MX-R5 housing and dual Retra Pro Max strobes. Although, she does enjoy using other fun underwater lighting techniques too. Tammy is currently living in Dallas, Texas with hopes to make sunny South Florida her home once again in the very near future.
