Winners will be announced at the next SFUPS meeting.
REMEMBER:
- Only TWO (2) entries per person per month.
- RESIZE your images (1400 pixels, 144 dpi)
- Include YOUR name in the file name (Ex: JohnSmith-AprilMastr-1.jpeg)
- DO NOT include your name in the image title (Ex: Beautiful Reef)

THINGS THAT SLITHER – (ANY LENS) – Avoid DOWN SHOTS… can be anything from an eel free swimming to a Bobbitt worm close up.
MAY MASTERS CATEGORY:
BOKEH – (MACRO) – Macro shot that isolates the subject by achieving a soft blurred background. Bokeh is a Japanese term that means “blur” or “haze”, and is achieved by shooting manual, using a low F stop, faster shutter speed to blur the out-of-focus areas in an image. Shoot closer to the subject, to create a shallow depth of field where the background is set back a bit from the subject.
