ANGELA SMITH

Wrote and Directed a film with Shark Team One that will be played at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

SUSAN MEARS, JIM MEARS, NICOLA KUNDRUN, ZACH NOLAN, TOM POFF, LINDA IANNIELLO

had images selected for the diving and blackwater portions of the ScubaNation broadcast for Discover the Palm Beaches, titled “Reefs, Jungle & Family Escapades.” Jim Mears’ video was also featured along with SFUPS’ sponsor Pura Vida Divers. This segment of ScubaNation is currently being broadcast on Fox Sports SUN network.

DEBBIE WALLACE

received 1st and 3rd Place in the Wide Angle category of RSMAS 2019 Competition.

HANNES KLOSTERMANN

was published in WetPixels Full Frame feature for March 8th.

NIKOLE HEATH

has an image in the winter 2019 issue of AlertDiver magazine in the article “Diving into a Fish-Eat-Forage-Fish World.”

LEE BURGHARD

had won both Gold and Silver awards in the video category in the Our World Underwater 2019 competition.

have co-authored a book called “Blackwater Creatures, A guide to southeast Florida blackwater diving.”

LUREEN FERRETTI

Placed at the Manta Ray Bay Resort Mantafest shootout. First place in DSLR reef scenes and third place is DSLR big animal category.

LINDA IANNIELLO

Linda and her images are featured in a blackwater diving segment of the BBC show “A Day in the Life of Earth”, along with SFUPS’ sponsor Pura Vida Divers. This interesting show can be seen on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e5be9rgy2w The blackwater portion starts at about 31 minutes.

won 1st place in the wide angle unrestricted category of Backscatters Digital Shootout.

won 2nd place in the Black Water category of the Asia Pacific Underwater Photo Challenge.

got Highly Commended in the Up and Coming category of the Underwater Photographer of the Year contest

had his image “Blacktip Paradise” chosen to be included in National Geographic’s Celebrating The Planet story.
