Annalise was a guest lecturer at the University of Central Florida, delivering a presentation titled “Exploring Maritime Cultural Heritage: Archaeological Techniques and Methodologies”. On April 19th, Annalise and Zach will be presenting their paper, “Predicting Locations of Maritime Archaeological Sites Around the United States Using Coastal Geography” at the 2024 American Academy of Underwater Sciences Symposium.

will be February’s guest speaker for the Dallas Underwater Photography Society group. She will be presenting virtually on diving in south Florida, specifically improving macro techniques at Blue Heron Bridge

RICHARD COLLINS
is a co-author of an article titled “Additional observations on hydromedusae during night dives in the Gulf Stream” which was published in the Swiss Journal of Zoology and online in BioOne. Between this and a previous study, SFUPS members have helped identify and describe a total of eight new species. Photographing and sampling was mainly done by Rich, with SFUPS members Andrea Whitaker, Deb Devers and Linda Ianniello contributing specimens and images for this massive work.
